About me

Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Helene Widlund and I'm 25 years old. I’m originally from Norway, but after studying history there for 3 years, I decided that I wanted to do something more creative with my life, and I moved to The Hague to study UX design. I’m now on my last year of my studies and I’m looking forward to finding my place in the design world.

As a designer, I’m a big fan of simplistic designs with the use of a natural colour palette. However, I also enjoy the use of more bold colours to make a design more lively. My skills lay for the most part in low- and hi-fi prototyping, sketching and wire framing. For my non-design related skills, I’m confident in my communication, both with clients or with co-workers. I enjoy learning new skills and I find myself to be a quick learner. Working in a team is something I like a lot, learning and growing together and helping each other out whenever we can.

I would love to get more experience with user research and testing, while learning more about research methods.

On a more personal note, on my free time I like playing video games, painting, listening to a good podcast, taking long walks and baking :)
